Data Usage Policy

1. AI Co-Pilot Training
Your dealership data (customers, vehicles, service history, sales patterns) trains our AI co-pilot. We de-identify data—we remove personally identifiable info before analysis. This helps the co-pilot learn industry workflows and improve recommendations for all users.
2. Platform Analytics
We track: pages viewed, features used, time spent, conversion rates, and feature adoption. This helps us understand how dealerships use Clutch and where to prioritize improvements. Analytics data is aggregated and never tied to your identity.
3. Performance Monitoring
We monitor: API response times, error rates, uptime, and system health. This helps us ensure the Service stays up 24/7 and identify bottlenecks. Monitoring data is logged but not shared with third parties.
4. Fraud Detection
We analyze payment patterns, login behavior, and data access to detect fraud or abuse. Flagged accounts are reviewed manually before any action is taken.
5. Legal and Compliance
We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or government request. We will notify you unless legally prohibited.
6. Opt-Out
You can opt out of AI training on your data. Go to Settings → Privacy. You cannot opt out of essential platform operations (billing, security, uptime monitoring).
7. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties except: (a) as required by law, (b) with service providers who process data on our behalf (Square, Neon, Vercel) under confidentiality agreements, or (c) with your explicit consent.
